I have never stopped reading a book before until now. I love her Brooklyn Girls series. But this book was a disaster. I was trying to find a new author that was similar to Sophie kinsella or Lindsey Kelk. This was the first book I attempted to read from her. Thankfully I ordered the Brooklyn girl series at the same time thus giving me the opportunity to try the author again. Only reason why I gave her another chance. This book talks way to much about work it's beyond boring. I do however recommend Brooklyn girls. I am reading the first one right now and it is ver good so far.

I read a lot of light stuff, and this one, along with her other book are in my top 5. Like Jane Austen, great supporting cast. Believable story and characters, and laugh out loud moments. Don't hesitate -- you'll love it!!
I love this author - Gemma Burgess is my new chic lit favourite!! She's original, witty, and funny - her characters are loveable and the story is great! It's a perfect read! I enjoy her writing so much that I actually get sad when I'm close to finishing so I try to slow down my reading!
I was looking forward to reading this book, but was somewhat disappointed with it. There was way to much "drinking" and partying for my taste. It was funny in certain places, but I wouldn't rush to read it again.
I found this book Quirky and funny. A great read. Kept me really entertained. I will definately read this aurthor again.
In excellent condition and showed up before i was expecting it! Can't wait to start reading this book. Just have to finish the last 40 pages of my current book.

I really liked this book. I didn't like all of the little details put into it (I mean do I really need to know that she shaves, showers, washes, and does whatever every single morning!), they felt just like useless information. And after all of the drawout of the "Dating Sabattical" I felt like the ending was VERY rushed... I don't want to spoil it but I will just say that what happend in New York for me just felt like a cop out of a quick way to end it because the author could't come up with a better way! If the ending hadn't been so rushed this book would have been five stars all the way!
